Nose is charred and stewed fruit with a hint of barnyard funk. The palate starts with strawberry jam, cherry pie, rhubarb pie, and plum with cinnamon, clove, and allspice emerging mid-palate. Menthol and American oak make an appearance near the end. Moderate plus acid and medium tannin and alcohol. This is a complex and substantial Pinot well representing the SLH designation.

Charred fruit nose. The palate is strawberry, rhubarb, spice, and French oak. Some chewy tannins and lots of zippy acid. A nicely balanced, medium bodied pinot.

Smokey fruit nose. Tart fruit that merges with moderate acid mid palate. The acid grows through the finish as the smokey fruit returns.
