Ruby with aromas of berries, floral and herb notes. Grapes sourced from younger vines, on the palate tart cherry fruit, with notes of currants, some pepper spice, mushroom and earthy oak notes. Aged for 10 months on French oak, fine soft tannins, long finish ending with fruit and earthy character. Very nice.

High-toned cherry, raspberry, and a bit of strawberry. Balanced out by earth, leather, and spice, which I think would evolve nicely with time. Trends towards a bit of a riper style for the Willamette Valley, while still being characteristic of place. Fantastic example of the larger AVA!
