Monthly wine group meet up. This month's theme was non-typical reds from Napa. Wines were tasted blind. Always a great time. 👌

Bill decided to bring two wines and this was one of them! Ha! He was trying to stump the group. While no wine of the night, this really wasn't terrible. Didn't seem as harmonious as everything else, but the fruit traits were solid. Red and black fruits and peppercorn. A tad spicy. Thanks for keeping us on our toes, @Bill Makens !

It’s no 2 Buck Chuck but it will do LOL. Actually this is much better than the Chuck and really enjoyed it. Will definitely buy again.

Plum and blackberry, slight black pepper, smooth tannins

Ate a burger and drank the whole darn thing. Things I don't do often but might start doing often now 😉

Fruity. Probably still young. Headache inducing. Skip next time.

Great value for a West Coast Zin. Good depth and nose for the price. Pairs well with meat and even most fish.

Nice balance. Drinkable table wine. Worth the money
