Case alert. Massive qpr. Body+tannin+fruit+smoke+finish = well rounded, fantastic bottle of wine. Put this wine blind in a row of $30-50 syrahs and it would play. Complex earth and blackberry and blueberry flavors dominate the palette after taking in a great pipe tobacco nose. Great, long finish. I'm always on the look for great values and the TJ reserve line does well: this bottle could be the best of the reserve lines I've tasted.

A full bodied wine with good black cherry flavors. This is what I'm looking for in a budget Syrah. Thanks, TJ's.

Jammy and little complexity, but not a bad thing to have on hand after palate fatigue sets in. But like, a lot of the TJ's Reserves there are better and less expensive options available on the shelves.

Quite nice for the price ($10) Medium body , cherry and oak with a smooth finish, but not Pat’s favorite.

Dark fruit and spice. Pleasant sweetness and I could see it working well with grilled food or red meat. I would like to keep a bottle around.

‘Reserve’, fancy. Dark as night. Very hot as far as alcohol Smells like warm rocks and cooking blackberry tart. Flavors are bombastic and fruit driven. Black coffee flavored with black currant syrup. Hint of ink. This is big and bold. A touch over the extra ripe line, but it’s alright.
