Medium Ruby in colour although a transparency to the colour. A varnishy red fruited nose - a very aromatic and attractive perfume. Earlier in its life the whole bunch influence poked out a little too much but generally a great balance with the pristine cool climate Coal River Valley fruit. Apr 23rd, 2022The first of 2 Tasmanian Pinots. Pale crimson in colour. Red fruits and stalky notes- too much whole bunch? But still a lovely aromatic perfume featuring rose petals on the nose. A light to medium weight palate which works. The typical Burgundian trait of a fuller flavoured palate than the colour would indicate.

Aug 10th, 2020Medium Ruby. Stalky also fragrant perfume - whole bunch in evidence in the ferment. On the silky palate sweetish red fruits , mineral, fruit and earth there with the fruit predominant at the moment. A very good Tasmanian Pinot Noir.

Green Thai herbs with notes of coriander and ginger. Marvellous complexity at such a young age. Medium to light weight palate. Just a lovely Pinot Noir.
