we got this bottle years ago when my taste in wine was totally different. I'm going to see if it is still as good to me as it was five years ago. This bottle retailed at 150$ at time of purchase, now this site says sold out so who knows what it would go for.

edit: now that I have revisited this wine again, I can confirm that my tastes have changed. Really jammy,to the point it tastes like a desert wine, too much for my taste.

Currants and cherries and jammy with a barely sweet finish.

Interesting. Very boozy and hot, starting to develop port-like aromas and is holding up to age well. Honestly I had very low expectations from the producer but the wine is holding up as you would expect from the alcohol.

Very smooth, fruit forward and peppery aftertaste. Enjoyable overall, however not worth $150, in my opinion.
