Wonderful aromas and flavors of plum, dark cherry, tobacco, dark chocolate and baking spices. Additional Hints of charred wood and dried meat on the nose. Generous enough, but also delicate enough at the same time. Beautiful richness and balance of tannins and acidity. Quite pleasant. Revisited in October 2022. Still excellent!

Very good Rioja reserva! Sour red cherry berry, and oaky smoky 🍒😚💨 Had it with roasted garlic chicken thighs, arugula, and smashed potatoes with lemon, chives and sour cream. Pairing was a little off - it was too bold and flavorful for the dish, but certainly not bad!
The next day, it went perfectly with jamón ibérico. Of course.
