Back in the pre-pre Amazon dayzz, #wholefoods had a diverse & decent wine dept—you could find treasures from Georgia & Slovenia among the mass-market tempranillo & rosé...I visited recently to load up on dried pasta for the Armageddon and snagged a few of these 12$ (a steal) Macedonian quaffers. 2015 vintage pop n pour, initially a bit plummy but dries out nicely after a few hours. Good tannins and way more complex than expected. Hunker down with these cellar defenders... x
