A very interesting departure for us. Ordinarily, we’re not fans of Grenache, and that won’t change anytime soon, but this was intriguing as it had a singed wood, combined with a bright cherry compote note. Moderate tannins and bright acidity make this an interesting experiment.

Grenache with a small percentage of Mourvèdre and Syrah. Lively, medium bodied with Deep aromatics of candied red cherries and fresh sage.

Sometimes I forgot how much I love reds. then I open up an exceptional bottle that already makes me nostalgic and sad I don’t have another bottle for later times. So delicious—jammy but not sweet, all in a good way.
