The View Well-Heeled 2015. (I know this is a funny looking picture, I did a panoramic photo to capture all the detail around the bottle, as a photo of the front and back wouldn’t display it all properly.) When I visited this winery while in the Okanagan, I wasn’t blown away with any of the wine that I had during the actual tasting, so I bought this spontaneously to give it a try. It’s not half bad. While still technically being a fortified wine, I think it’s better from being branded as a desert wine. Which I enjoyed because it’s not as dry and tannin like because of this. Smoky nose. A curious sweet taste with a slight dry and lingering aftertaste. I wouldn’t be able to have too much of this, but for a small glass or two as desert, it’s good.
