I know what my two followers might think based on the name of this wine ;) however this is a pleasant wine. Better than the pro ratings, but I'm an amateur who knows nothing about wine. I like the smoothness and flavors. My tongue says more, please!!

Beautiful ruby/purple in color with a wide dark purple rim.

Nice nose of blueberries, sour cherries, plums, light oak, earth, dirt, peppercorn, spices, licorice, chocolates and spices.

Medium bodied with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Fruity on the attack, and dry on the palate, with plums, cherries, sweet raspberries, earth, licorice, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, spices and peppercorn.

Nice finish with firm, grippy tannins and tart strawberries.

This Petite Sirah is drinking very nicely now, with nice balance and a great mouthfeel. I liked it by itself, but for many, the tannins will be too powerful.
I've had it before, and I'm glad it is still drinking nicely. A Good wine to pair with grilled meats.

Needs 45 minutes to properly open up.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

Very good integration. Black currants, plums, and a subtle nuance of blueberries. Strong tannic structure, and generous American oak.

I thank my wife for loving petite syrah as much as she does. She got me into it and it's just such a special varietal. This was phenominal. Berry berry berry!

Really good, but I think I can find better at 17 bones. $17 / 89pts

Had most of the complexity I’ve come to find in this varietal: jammy dark fruit, coffee, vanilla, spice, forest floor, some herbaceous & some pepper but lacking some density for me along with some astringency that was off-putting. Fine grained tannins made it rather supple.
