Drinking really well still. Great fruit and still some tannins. Not as rich and bold as some bigger wines but very enjoyable. Probably a couple years left in this vintage.

Much improved in 3 yrs since last tasted. Elegant, silky dark fruit, tobacco, and earthy notes. No rush to drink.

Still going strong, even after an hour in the decanter. Well balanced. Opens with lots of fruit in the nose then settles into some nice soft tannins.

Aug 8th, 2018Very aromatic black cherry and earth on the nose. While this is 70% cab sav and 30% sangiovese, I would have guessed more cab franc over CS. There is a herbal green earthiness that reminds of a cab franc. Secondary black cherry flavors are on the palate too.
Opened for 30 min prior to drinking.
