Super mineraly and doughy. A really cool style with enough fruit to back up its minerality and maintain its lean-ness.

Nov 29th, 2019Green apple and honeysuckle on the nose. Apples, straw, mild sweet ginger, and touch of kiwi on the palate. Fantastic apertif, for cocktail hour, or dessert (finishes like a dry, bracing Riesling). Better by itself, or with something neither salty nor sweet, like fried squid or a fava bean puree. It's poolside in Lugana, overlooking the hills, in a bottle.
