A fantastic beautiful Sicilian Red
Jan 16th, 2016Like most Italian wines I have had, this one was much improved with food. Initially, I hated it. To top it off, I had never heard of the varietal. The wine had intense acidity and while the tannins were not big, it just didn't do it for me. Then once the pasta hit the table, the wine almost instantly turned around and I enjoyed it immensely. I image this is the way my adventures will go while I am here in Sicily, lots of new stuff I end up loving.
