Aromas of cherries, lavender, slight earthy nose. Cherries, leather, black tea, flowers on the palate. Good tannins nice finish.

Had this upon opening, 3 hours after decanting and eventually 8 hours after opening. On the nose there were hints of unripened fruit and dry dirt, although the fruit was mostly prominent. The light body transparent ruby colored wine was mostly strawberries and then spice on the palate with a medium high acidity level. The tannins were, as to be expected, immediate and high. Absolutely delighted by the balance on this wine. Incredibly long finish. I could drink this over and over. Recommended!!
