Because wine is such a psychological sensory experience, the fact that I'm drinking this on a rooftop terrace in my father's home town in Alcamo, Sicily, next to my beautiful wife, watching the sunset over the mountains and the sea, means this wine is glorious.

Notes of sea spray, citrus, and almond hit you immediately with subtler aromas of vanilla and cream in the background. Lovely, lesser known white that has some elements of Southern Italian whites and many of a fine Chardonnay.
