Ripe and juicy (not jammy) currant and cherry with well balanced acidity and med+ fine tannins. Touch of dark chocolate.
Really impressive stuff. Pretty elegant given the high alcohol. Just the kind of wine I like to pair with the right food (ribeye in this case): not overly complex but juicy, pure fruit with nice structure.
