Antaeus Estate Napa Valley Zinfandel Blend

2012 vintage. Super classy old school Napa. 53 Zinfandel 34 Cab Sauv 10 Petit Verdot 3 Merlot. Dark and dusty in both texture and flavor. Blackberry, currant, baked raspberry, sage, graphite, dried leaves, cedar, dried violets. Good complexity and still seems rather youthful, considering its age.

Juicy, lush, perfumey, dialed in tannic grip...this wine is a beaut.

Wonderful blend! Petite Verdot shines through nicely!

Nice component structure- shows herbal notes and can franc notes. Very nice!

Flabby... Not as good as the Zinfandels.

Great for the lonely. Cali but gooood. For the cash great.

Rich, dark fruit. Very tasty.

Terroir has overtaken variety now. Dusty plum and briar flavors with fine tannins. Great place.

Earthy, smooth but with spice.
