Rust, spice and the burnished embers of summer. Gorgeous label to boot.

Plummy color. Plummy smell. Also smells like mossy rocks and ripe summer berries. Flavor is fruit forward with some licorice and stone fruit skins in their too. More black/red plums too. Overall a decent affordable Shiraz from Oz.

Enjoying a fairly complex nose with stewed plums, eucalyptus and a hint of vanilla. Soft and velvety, almost syrupy mouthfeel with a palate characterized with black current jam and a sweet finish.
