Old wine is sacrilegious. This thirty-seven year old Napa Cab is opulently aromatic with the purest flavors of baked blueberry taking center stage; some dark chocolate and mocha as well. The power of the wine has been completely subdued to the integration of everything else. Tons of finesse and roundness on the pallet that lasts for about two minutes. A joule in my cellar and truly blessed to have enjoyed it amongst family.
