A birth-year bottle on my birthday. Light and translucent. Fully resolved tannins. Fruit is fading, but this is very much alive. Great with roasted rabbit.

Pulled this beauty from the cellar today and shared with friends. Took a few minutes for the bottle bouquet to blow off then it opened up for an hour or so. Classic aged Napa Cab qualities, a bit of Bret, lots of menthol and eucalyptus in the nose, very soft smooth texture, very nice on the palate, complex and elegant, what a joy, thanks LPB for the piece of history.
