What a beauty. A little green and Young’s still but a rich and wonderful wine. A little Methodist Pyrozeen maybe like you said but no complaints on my side. Thanks Aron for sharing this wine.

Out of Magnum solid Napa Cabernet with lots of jammy cassis , spice and a touch of oak. Elegant and well Balanced on the palate with a little tannin left . A good time to start drinking it.

Deep ruby red. A touch of cinnamon on the nose with notes of dark cherries, almost black, with some cocoa and dark minerality. Heavy tannins (7/10) and full bodied. Black bramble berries on the palate with some spices, more red berries coming through and tons of dark gravel. Long finish. Needs some time. Drink till 2032. (92+)

Last of the blind wines this evening. Medium to deep ruby red. A bit stinky on the nose to start with some added earthiness, a little smokey and blackcurrants. Heavy tannins (7.5/10) and hidden but full bodied. Layered palate with dark berries, red currants, spices, blackberries, bitter cocoa and gravel. Rounded mouthfeel with a little bit of a gritty texture near the long and dry finish. This is a big boy wine that will benefit from a few more years in the bottle or even more. Drink till 2033.

In my book a perfect wine. All is in place; fruit, oak, structure, tannins, finish. Like sleeping on a bed with satin sheets and velvet-coconut scented pillows.
