Starting to find Italian full bodied reds I really enjoy. This Langhe by Sottimano is the second label off his younger Barbaresco vines. Great value for classic nebbiolo. Light red fruit and tart cherry on the nose. Tannins that make your lips stick to your teeth, moderate acid to balance, plenty of red fruit, blackberry, sweet tobacco and tar. Would be fantastic with a big steak.
