2012 vintage.
Picked this up because I enjoyed the label and thought "how bad can a cab/merlot blend be?"
It's not bad. It's also very, very not good.
It's a pretty deep ruby color, slight watery rim, and once you stick your nose in this all you get is red fruit and oak. Then you taste it and it just tastes like vanilla creme brulee. There's low acid, short finish and a shit - ton of oak on the palate. What's weirder... there's no tannin. It's smooth, but not the smooth you get from integrated tannins. It's mainly cabernet sauvignon, there should be tannins. A lot of people will love this wine. I'm not one of them.

I taste vanilla, blackberry, cedar with a decent amount of tannins. Not too bold. But then again I like too bold 😊 very nice wine 2013

Not as good as sexual chocolate , but a good drink. Not real fruity, overpaid at ashburn wine shop, but will buy it closer to retail price again.
