Adam and Dianna Lee, founded Siduri in 1994, producing only four and a half barrels of Pinot Noir that first vintage. Now they make over 10,000 cases of Pinot Noir. Ruby with aromas of berry fruit, citrus & warm baking spice. On the palate, raspberry and cherry, tangy, with cedar notes & herbsl tones. Bright acidity, soft expressive tannins, lingering finish ending with oak and pepper spice. Very nice!

Garys' Vineyard, Santa Lucia Highlands. Another excellent Siduri Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot, no need to wait to drink but improves after an hour, opens up more. Subtle bouquet, dark flavor, full bodied, so smooth on the palate with perfect fruit on the tongue, perfect tannins, balanced and overall just tasty. This was not the same Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot of the last one rated...this one "probably" better. (Who knows, it's been awhile.) Siduri wines are near the top of the Russian River Valley best Pinots, this one no exception.

Dark cherry, earthy nose, with a bit of kirsch on the nose. Raspberry, black cherry, licorice, & sarsaparilla. Lingering finish.
