Sherwin Family Vineyards
Reserve Cellar Scraps 11 Platinum Red Blend
Not a bad little wine at all. Super dense and concentrated but just seemed to be a bit 'all over the place.' For a Spring Mountain wine, this one has a lot of dense, chalky fruit. Tastes very young. Still a bit gritty. I would have liked to have come back to this one after letting a full glass sit for about an hour and warmed to room temp. Black and blue fruit, a hint of baking spice. Getting some lavender in the note. Going to have to look for this one! Not sure of aging potential, as to me it seemed to lack a TINY bit of structure. But I betcha this one will hold for a few more years.
