Double decant and pour (some chunky sediment). A grand dark red garnet color with some bricking. On the nose: muted notes of stewed red fruit, earthy, smoke, cinnamon spice, anise. Taste: A velvety smooth wine with prunes, cedar, spice, minerals and a oakey baked cherry dry medium plus long finish and still slightly grippy tannins. Should go great with an oven roasted chicken Christmas day dinner. Cheers!
