This wine MUST be decanted and allowed to open up. After aerating and decanting, the aroma is soft sweet fruit. The initial taste is tart cherries then a peppery middle then a quick fade to a non tannic finish. Then a tartness. Seriously, the peppery and the finish is not there without decanting.
