Very surprised by the reserve exhibited in this wine. I was expecting huge extraction and over-ripe fruit but that is not the case. The oak is evident but not heavy handed.

Smooth approach, acidic, dry finish. Good cranberry and plum favors. Not as great as I remember it from the first time but a every day drinking Barbera!
