I don't know when 70% Cab Sauvignon, 20% Syrah and 10% Merlot became the "unrivaled" and "captivating" grapes of Sicily, but I wish they would stop doing stupid things like this. It's drinkable (not faulty) but totally uninspiring.

Little funk with some fermented raspberry and violet stuff on the nose. Flavors are very dry and pretty floral. Bitter and tannic with a nice tart cherry center. Unique and oh so very Italian.
