This needs some more aging or an insanely long decant. Deep ruby red with a purplish core. Very tight upon opening with lots of minerality, and gamey notes. Finally after six hours started to show some darker fruits and floral notes. Moderate plus tannins (7.5/10) and full bodied. Great structure with dark black cherries, mountain berries and slightly unbalanced acidity. Not enough to make it unpleasant but enough to notice. Moderate finish that will hopefully beef up with some aging. Drink from 2018 till 2028.
