Reserve Barrel Select Peumo Valley Carménère

100 pct varietal from Cachapoal Valley. Chocolate mocha, cloves, bell pepper, and ripe, dark fruits, and chewy tannins.

Deep and enticing. Dark fruit went well with braised short ribs.

For 10$ it was fantastic. Not very complex, but a bit spicy with nice fruit. Good with steak if you want an alternate for Malbec or cab.

Spicy - all the way thru. Mellows to a point where you get to experience the tannin, but it took a minute. Very little fruit.

Very dry, yet fruity. A slightly bitter melon flavor.

Dark cherry and cassis notes with subtle vanilla. A bite of butter acidity on a moderate finish that mellows with food.

Plum and blackberry aromas with oak. Touch acidic and some minerality. Smooth finish.

Nice wine, perfect for weekday dinners.
