It’s gorgeous from stem to stern. We tasted it straight out of the bottle in addition to a good-time of decanting and while different experiences between the two- this is a luscious, GORGEOUS blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre- and a splash of Viognier. It’s the perfect bottle to take to pair with lamb, steak- SHRIMPIES, whatevs. We were blown away. It is NOT cheap- but with regard to value- I’ve yet to meet its equal.

The wines in this blend mix to make a great “offering!” Fruit and spice, bold and spicy!

Love the texture of this, aroma is sweet fruit and baking spices. Creamy Black cherry, spice, mint? Like this a lot.

We opened this yesterday, and it has improved with exposure to air. It’s become more plush, open knit and inviting, while not being over/bearing. Lovely spice-box and cedar nose leads into rich cherries on the mid-palate. Medium weight, with medium sweetness, which finishes with roundness and moderate acidity. Very enjoyable, and love the label!

Too oaky. Weird. I did drink most of the bottle the next day but not my favorite

2016 Vintage. 48% Grenache, 32% Syrah, 19% Mourvèdre, 1% Viognier. Still a bit primary and can use a few more years or a coupe hour decant.
