See previous Delectable notes - my last Little Wine No. 7. Liquorice, blackberry and plum. A luscious silky medium plus bodied palate. Obviously the product of old vines in the Hoffman vineyard.

Similar notes to 48 weeks ago. Raspberry and blackberry - red and black fruits. A blend of 4 vintages but 43% 2017. Also 2016, 2015 and 2012 - all good vintages in the Barossa. A note of dried herbs. As always the feature is the succulent supple silky tannins from the old vine fruit. Interestingly Fraser likes to enjoy the “Little Wines” in a year or two after release.

My first of 3 bottles of Little Wine #7 Blackberry, plummy, Bracken, red florals. Medium plus bodied palate - unmistakably from old vine Barossa Shiraz. Grainy (but silky) persistent tannins. After a couple of hours - smoked meats. Went from red and black berry fruits to much more savoury on the palate. Probably the best Little Wine so far. A blend of 4 vintages - 2017 (43%), 2016 (38%), 2015 (15%), and 2012 (4%).

What a smell. 4 hour decant but fruit filled perfume still leaps from the very last glass. Black fruited with raspberry highlights, full bodied but fresh with thick soft tannin that frames everything perfectly. Earthy, with a herbal, leafy presence and ripe fruits but savoury finish. One bottle left :(

Bill's in town, so why not kill a Sami-Odi??? He opened the Greenock Creek 02 Seven Acre, so why not this one? This wine has an intoxicating nose like the Sami-Odi Hoffman 0.534 Syrah consumed a few months before. This is definitely a "little wine" to this HD Syrah. Displaying just as much lusciousness in the nose. One person said "I don't know what this is, but I can smell this in the glass for the rest of the night and I would be satisfied." Mission accomplished! The entry is dark, black fruit and a ton of it. Dark, black, condense, full bodied, although the finish seems to be a bit shorter than the Hoffman Dallwitz. Multi-vintage wine of 2012, 15, 16, 17 Syrah. Delicious. Still has 10 years left.

I little sad that I haven't hold on this bottle for a few more years, but honestly this is already a stunning wine; from the nose to the palate.
The good weight on the palate is driven by a marvelous freshness that makes this wine sublime, easy drinking and so in balance already.
Nose is giving, but I reckon it will improve

My lord what a concentration. An outstanding palate with super fine and electrically charged tannins. The 14.5% alcohol is only noticing by acting as a catalyst which in conjunction with the electrical tannins is forcing the dense and concentrated palate throughout the long and balanced finish. A power package brought to you in a unimaginable refined and elegant casing. 95+

WOW.........this is magic in a bottle! Deep and rich like but somehow light at the same time. A John Coltrane kind of wine. Special stuff...

Prefer the 6 to the 7, but it’s splitting hairs - they’re both great. Could smell this 5 feet away, tremendous structure and will only get better.

17.5/20 (93/100) Комплексный аромат с нотами спелых ягод черешни, ежевики, табака и специй. Йодистое во вкусе. Чуть зеленоватые танины. Интересное.
