Classic New World ripeness, bright fruit and soft tannins. Stanly Ranch wines always seem to offer a distinct amalgam of black cherries, cola and subtle earthiness. Oak is well-integrated on this one, baking spice notes are toned down and in the background. Rounded mid palate texture, a tad sweet on the finish. Open and inviting now, drink in the near future for sure.

The Pinot Noir is in an excellent place at the moment. The new oak has beautifully integrated back into the wine creating a perfect balance new world red. The nose is plus and soft showing black stone fruits and berries along with touches of wet earth. The palate is still juicy but not heavy with plush but still firm acidity and is velvety smooth. Flavors of blackberries and stewed cherries dominate with more subtitle notes of pomegranate, baking spice and oak. The finish is soft and lingering. Delicious.
