Decanted. Transparent ruby. Wasn't impressed with the first bottle but decanting made all of the difference. Ripe berries, black cherry, rhubarb and cinnamon on the nose. Mild tannins and full bodied. Spicy on the palate. Black pepper, vanilla, nutmeg, cherry. Much better than the first bottle so I'm suspecting dome bottle variation. Very solid QPR. Nice everyday wine. 88
