Right up there with the 85 Dom Rose . Salmon / orange in color with a brilliant array of strawberry , toffee , orange , lavender , fig , minerals and a hint of mushrooms. On the palate elegant and fine bubbles , rich yet balanced a lingering finish of dry fruits . A wow Champagne !

1985 rose vintage Dom Ruinart. Deep salmon, orange hue. Ripe apricot and butterscotch. 10g dosage. On palate, rich and porcini and truffle. Meaty and leather. Acidity is integrated. Soy sauce and apricot. Good length. Prefer the '88. But great wine.
