It rich freshness. Plenty of rich, ripe; strawberries, lean watermelon near the rhine, cherries, tangerine, black cherries, black raspberries, citrus blossoms, pomegranate juice, sea shells, grainy volcanic minerals, yeast, bread dough, red & pink roses, beautiful acidity and a long, rich, elegant, vibrant finish.

Love the rich, medium fruit in the Ruinart Rosé. Black cherries, cherries, strawberries, touch of black raspberries, ripe watermelon. Soft chalkiness, sea spray, touch of yeast, delicate minerality, near perfect acidity and a long, round, rich beautiful finish.

Photos of, the House of Ruinart, their very chalky caves with A-framed bottles waiting to be riddled, some library bottles I’d like to get my hands on and one of their Grand Cru Vineyards.

Wednesday is not the best day for the 4th of July. But, I’ll make the most of it by starting things off on a Tuesday night with some Ruinart.

Darker more pronounced mid red fruits than other N/V Champagne. Richer & fuller with nicely pronounced sharp chalkiness. Some peach & tangerine. Happy 4th all, enjoy! 💥 🇺🇸

Sofia in a stunning reversal of last weekend tells me she likes the Billecart Salmon Rosé over the Ruinart. 🤦🏾‍♂️ Oh well, back to BSR more regularly.

It’s been another long day of landscaping and I’ve been looking forward to a glass of Champagne all day. Sofia says, “she favors the Ruinart Rosé over Billecart-Salmon Rosé.” So, we’ll be working this in a little more often. They are both very good. I think she likes the Ruinart Rosé better as the fruits are more ripe, richer, bolder. The black cherries, strawberries & cherries are certainly more pronounced over the Billecart. 375ml.

A nice switch up from the Billecart Salmon Rosé. On the nose; red fruit blend, fresh dark florals and red roses. The palate fruits are deeper/darker. Ripe; black cherries, black raspberries, strawberries, cherries w/ a touch of liqueur. Baguette crust, medium intensity of gray volcanic minerals, soft, powdery minerals with a touch of grittiness, beautiful acid and a rich, round, polished finish. Photos of; House of Ruinart, cellar, very old private cellar that I would love to dive into & one of their Grand Cru Vineyards. 375ml
