Estate Grown Napa Valley Proprietary Red Wine

05' Roy Proprietary Red. I always enjoy drinking this wine. I haven't had this wine in a year. Even better than it was the year ago… If you can imagine that. Sweet dark chocolate, black raspberry, soft elegant tannins. A moderate finish. @Mike Rowe all smiles!

Opened up after two hours . Medium to full-bodied. Dark ruby red. The middle and back of the palate opened up nicely . Funky nose, black raspberry, blackcurrant & dark chocolate. The acidity had softened & dissipated nicely.

Charles and Shirley sure got this one right.

Hitting its stride now, much better with some more age on it.

Its been a couple years since my last 05, still needs some air to come around,

Very good cab, always a crowd pleaser,

Ten years in the making and hitting its stride. First time having this. Lots of Bright CA fruit, smooth but still present tannins. Terrific.

Had this with Leslie at Vico . It was delicious !!

2005...complex and balanced...nearly a perfect wine
