Very fruit forward. Luscious. As it breathes it is really opening up.

Leather and hay on the nose. Light red fruit on the front, but not much is happening there. The party begins at the top of the palate, where are the blackberry and ripe red cherry (as they say on the label) kick in. Light to medium tannic structure, with no offnotes. Soft finish. This is a very very nice table wine— but I can’t give it more than an 8.9, because there are no surprises here.

Strong and full bodied fruit. Better after breathing for a bit. Got this in the October wine club package from West Seattle Cellars

2002 vintage- best of the lot in a 2004, 2005, 2006 vertical tasting, plum and dark fruit on the nose, plums prune in the mouth... fruit was waining but still balanced enough- tannins were still properly intact- was a pleasure, thanks to my Dad for making the tasting possible
