Great structure that benefits from air. Loads of citrus, white peach, and almond skin. Somewhat Chablis-esque but with that telling hint of Italian nuttiness. Went great with a chicken curry.

Inimitable freshness and balance - a sense of weightless fruit despite a solid weight - and just enough of that smoke/ash/campania minerality

Kiwi, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, hint of dried thyme and rosemary on a medium frame with razor like acid and a long finish suggesting lemon gum drop. Would be interesting to see how this ages

2014 vintage. Drinking well but not nearly as good as the 2013 is drinking right now. Minuscule benchmark producer of Fiano farming organically. Imported by Marco de Grazia.

Fresh notes of lemon. This Fiano from the local area in Campania. Lemons grown everywhere here so not surprising it makes its way into the wine. Refreshing with bracing acidity. Great with spaghetti and anchovies.

2012 vintage. Just enough bottle age to show its true colors. What separates this wine from others in the appellation is the freshness/acidity. Density without weight.

This citrusy, leesy Fiano should renew your faith in Italian whites, if you've lost it.

I rag on Italian whites a lot but this is fantastic stuff. Waxy, dried pineapple, ash, and zippy acid make for a very complete and complex wine.

2012 vintage. One of my favorite producers of Fiano along with Pietracupa. This vintage seems to be leaner and acid driven, showing quince, smokey ash, and waxy texture.
