As a Riesling lover this one was really interesting. The beautiful sugar acid balance felt somehow loose and soulful, like Japanese ceramics that seem to emerge from the earth with perfect form under a funky and accidental exterior. German Riesling is typically so precise, this one has impeccable balance but an informality. Wonderful.
