I love Ridge!!! So it's no secret that I love their Geyserville. Delicious and balanced Zin field blend. Great acid backbone that gives lift to the dark berry and smoky fruits. Killer!

As usual well a balanced and mouth-coating Ridge. Violet, red berry, and minty nose. Palate notes of blue/red fruits, spice, and Corinthian leather. Always consistent, and one of my all time favorite wineries.

Wow! I've never had Ridge this old. Tannins fully resolved, toasted creme brulee and soft red fruits on the nose. Definitely in its final stages, and past peak, but still holding on and a very interesting showing. Lively, but somewhat sharp. I think it's mid point at 7 or 8 years old would speak to me, where it still had some grip and ferocity but was beginning to mellow out.

A big vintage. Less American oak than I remember in the past. First one I've seen in a while that wasn't de-acidulated. Gotta love the honest ingredient labeling.

Was ok. A little on candied, ripe side but enjoyable

Not often I tuck into a rich red, but this was full of PLEASURE. Perfect red for a brisk, early sunset, Seattle November.

Wow! 1974 jewel of a wine! Bits of BBQ spice on the nose with sweet core and nuances of forest floor and underbrush. What kills me is the 'glycerine' like envelop over the wine that holds the excellent acid and tannin backbone. These old Zin's drink better than most of the old Cabs! Incredible!!!

So unmistakable! One of the easier blinds in a while. It screams of California, and more specifically California translated beautifully by Paul draper. So consistently delicious.

17+ at first I feared fruit gone nose light. After 10 minutes in glass, it expanded, fruit emerged, rich and complex nose. Bout I won't let this 1999 sit much longer
