Riddoch Wines hail from Coonawarra in South Australia. Visionary pioneer John Riddoch was the founder of the Coonawarra fruit colony in 1891 and today the wines are crafted by winemaker Neil Doddridge. This 2015 Reserve Cabernet retails for about $35 at places like Dan Murphy's and BWS.
It's a deep plum colour on the eye with notes of Ribena, mint, dark chocolate 🍫 and leather on the nose. In the mouth it's juicy and fruity with vanilla laced dark fruits and a wonderfully smooth body. A very tasty winter warmer!
