Decanted overnight and now happy. Bright red fruit, savory notes, enjoyable; but not much depth at this point.

Needs a bit more time in the bottle, but it opens itself up nicely. More earth than fruit, just how I prefer. Looking forward to seeing how this does on day two.

Lovely red summer berries, silky tannins, fresh acidity and good overall balance. As you always judge producers by their entry level ambitions, climbing up the quality latter promise to be a thrill.

More interesting than I expected. I would never thought these could age as well as this has.

Powerful American pinot. Nice to know the vineyard is owned by fellow GSBer!

Cranberry and red cherry fruit, spice, and some piney stemminess, with a tart and slightly tannic finish.

Delicious. In its prime, drink now.

No hints of 2008 smokiness here. Powerful, fleshy fruit & wonderfully fresh, cracking acidity. Tannins offer a subtle grip, plenty of structure still evident here. Excellent example of Sonoma Pinot.
