Aged 100% new oak for 24 months.

The nose shows; round, voluptuous, rich lush, dark currants. Ripe/floral; blackberries, dark cherries, blue & purple fruits, black raspberries and black plum. Caramel, mocha, vanilla, light dark spice & clove, touch of nutmeg, soft woodiness, dark fruit liqueur notes, black licorice, soft leather, tobacco, dry crushed rocks, very, rich, dark soils with fresh dark floral bouquet.

The body starts juicy and fresh and slides into dark, ripe, firm, big, chewy tannins. The fruits are, lush, ripe, floral and beautiful. Blackberries, dark cherries, blue & purple fruits, black raspberries and black plum. Caramel, mocha, vanilla, light dark spice & clove, touch of nutmeg, soft woodiness, dark fruit liqueur notes, black licorice, soft leather, tobacco, dry crushed rocks, very, rich, dark soils with fresh dark floral bouquet. The structure, tension, length and balance are outstanding for such a young wine. However, hold this another five to eight years. The round acidity is excellent. The lush, ripe, well balanced finish is incredible. It persists on & on.

I need to buy another bottle of wine like I need a hole in my head. I am bringing home two bottles from the Western Cape and this is one of them.

Fin aromatisk. Riktigt mörk och tät. Frukten känns potent, bra mognad. Lite toner av lakrits och vinbär.
