Oct 27th, 2017Light, bright, and just right. Yes, NYS makes some tasty reds. Comparing them to other regions is a fool's errand, and expecting them to be something other than what they are is as well. This is an elegant, delicious, even alluring wine. 12% abv. $23.99 Excellent QPR.

Jan 20th, 2017About what I'd expect from a NY wine. Nose lacks fruit or life and the finsh is harsh and a little astringent. Interesting for where it's from and how it's made. But I'll pass, even if given to me.

Feb 23rd, 2015Tart cranberry that has a little gummy fruit candy or even stevia note. There’s a noticeable oak chip tannin, and a granular acidulated graininess. Thin and one dimensional.

Mar 24th, 2019A good NY Pinot. I can think of a few other NY Pinots that are better (Ravines, Dr Frank's & White springs) but this one has a smooth start with good pepper finish.
