Heady nose of blackberries, jammy purple fruit, brambly and peppery aromas, and then surprisingly lifted on the palate. Sappy with a uniquely Spanish garrigue quality. Refined in its structure and reminiscent of cru Beaujolais in the realm of brouilly or moulin a vent... but at 15 years ago prices. Such a generous wine! Plenty of freshness, spice and raw pleasure to spare.

Love this. Beautiful nose that blew off a bit of molasses and farmyard at first but relaxed into pure sweet red and and blue fruit. Some herbaceous and green spice tones. Great acid and a lovely velvety texture. Drinks smooth, substantial, but light.

@Delectable Wine this is the Rapolao cuvée. Have we been calling Perez a rock star for too many years now? Let’s just settle on “master”. This wine is refined, aromatic, balanced, and beautiful. And the other “crus” are even better. Forward!
