I get the Ramey Rodgers Creek Syrah every year directly from Ramey and have a nice vertical of it going back 10 years and 15 with some gaps. The 2006 is very good in a mix that generally ranges from there to outstanding. Even with age, the fruit is vibrant but the silky texture, creamy vanilla and cassis note, and a tough of pepper made this really pop.

Open needs some time. To open alcohol heavy at first Juicy with meats and pepper.

Killer Syrah. Very jammy, high alcohol content (15%). Don't remember where I got it. Been cellaring it for some time.
