Pretty color. Light ruby with a watery rim. Being 55% syrah I would've thought there'd be more savory meaty notes on the nose but while there are some slight notes I get a lot more leather and super ripe red fruits. The palate confirms that with some nice acidity that make me want to drink more and a finish that continues for awhile. Santa Barbara does good Rhone blends, outside of Rhone.

Spice and dark fruit. Restrained. Elegant. Great food pairing. Olive oil woodsy.

Pretty decent nose. Sweet berries, a little sour cherry, some licorice. Pretty light and bright on the pallet. Light color. Perfect for seafood. Not a whole lot of body. A little thin. Some stewed red fruit with a nice pleasant lingering finish.
